The Not So Random Observations (Part 6)

Once again, it's been quite a while since I last posted random observations. This one though, as the title suggests, is not so random. I'm gonna be focusing (you might say targeting) on the rich people, their lifestyle and their habits. Here we go! 1) Lot of people wear sunglasses. Or shades, or whatever the hell else they are called. But there seems to be a direct relationship between the size of your sunglasses and the amount of money you possess. The richer you are, the bigger your glasses are. Those thing are supposed to provide shade for your eyes, not your whole goddamn face! Why not just wear a veil then? Protects you from walking safely 2) The more you seem to pay for your food, the lesser it is cooked. All these 5 star hotels with their fancy dishes and menus charge you outrageous amounts for food (not just food, but a small cup of chai will burn a hole in your pocket) that is not even properly cooked is bland to the very core. If you pay 10 bucks to e

Stereotyped

"It cant be pure coincidence that a majority of "attractive" girls are bimbos. It is a choice that they make." A few days ago, in one of my more thoughtful tweets, I wrote this. Then, I thought a little more. I wrote this. "Are a majority of attractive males also mimbos (male bimbos)? Maybe so. Even that has to be a choice, not a coincidence." I continued in the same vein, thinking (but not tweeting) about more cultural and popular stereotypes. I thought about Madrasis, Punjabis, Malayalis, "Asians" (apparently, the term Asian only covers Chinese people. Thanks for that, USA) and many, many more. It is really hard to say how these stereotypes came about. Who was the guy who sat down and decided that so and so group should be stereotyped in such and such way? Or did the people themselves get together and decide what their stereotype would be? Are the stereotypes even true? It does not matter. The media (mostly books, fi

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (Truth)

" People are strange when you're a stranger ". The Doors wrote this song almost 50 years ago. People indeed are strange. But are humans good or bad? This is a theme that has been exploded in hundreds of films, novels and other types of art and literature. The protagonist is good in any and every situation. The antagonist is evil and wicked in every and any situation. But whose side do the normal people, the general population take? Are people fundamentally good, or fundamentally bad? This is the eternal question. I believe that people are fundamentally good. But that goodness is buried deep somewhere. It is not on the surface. It is quite rare for someone to do a selfless act of good will. Let me explain with a few figures. Do bear in mind that these figures are not accurate in any way. Let us consider 100 people as a focus/ test group. In these 100 people, 10 people are fundamentally evil (your rapists, pedophiles, murderers, etc), 5 people are fundamentally
